ABOUT ANEESHA SHETTY

 

 

Aneesha (1999) is an aspiring Singaporean artist who is in the Final Year of her Diploma in Fine Arts at the LASALLE College of the Arts.

 

She works primarily with the mediums of painting and drawing while experimenting with photography and installation art in her practice.

 

 

Everyday life and its many experiences are recurring themes in her art. She observes and examines behaviors and reactions of animals and people in everyday settings and is inspired by the many aspects of life that are often unnoticed or ignored by us.

 

Her work has most recently been exhibited at LASALLE's Brother Joseph McNally Gallery. She was also one of the curators of the student show: Our Eyes Beyond The Spectacle.

 

In 2017, her work was featured in the Urban Redevelopment Authority's City Gallery.

 

In March 2018, her first dance work titled Provoking The Silence was featured in the Smash The Glass film festival examining global gender issues and was at the same time featured in the LASALLE show titled Vice Versa.
