Body Explorations, 2017
Movement, space, bodies are explored within this series through paintings and drawings. The concept of the changes that occur whilst the body is in motion, is what inspired these works plays around with sketchy lines and vibrant colours to portray the sequential gestures of the body.
Aneesha uses herself and live models as reference for these works to question the traditional notions of looking and observing the female body. As well as looking back at her own experience with puberty and her changing perception towards the way she views the female body.
